"CURIOUS GOODS"Magazine ISSUE NUMBER 29 KARMA-DEMO --------------------------------------------- BY Jerry Rutherford
KARMA aren`t ones to be relics of that whoie slapbassfunkmetal rage from awhile back.More.They possess way,way too much style and flavor for that. In fact, I`d reckon these cats could give those I MOTHER EARTH guys a run for their money. Hell, "Cracks" the second track here kick my hairy, white ass bootay and leaves more of a footprint than "Rain Will Fall" ever did.Equipped with a rhytm section that can easily verge on controlled chaos when need be, a guitarist , whose less flamboyand Vai-isms add much texture to many of the songs, and a fantastically fluid vocalist KARMA arequite the agile bunch. Regadless of whether it`s the less manic and heady vibe of "FLY" and "Merry Mary" or the walloping slamcrunch of "Americana" and the previously mentioned "Cracks"you`ll surely be hearing the group at peak performance level.Take a notion to get in touch with`em ,wontcha?KARMA.
