Notes:
------
The rhythm guitar is played clean with upstrokes.
I get a decent replication of the lead guitar sound with just my
Strat and Marshall amp (on lead channel with reverb all the way to 11).
During the verse the rhythm guitar plays the chords listed while the
lead guitar plays the verse riff. During the chorus the lead guitar
plays the chords listed, but as barre chords.
I have not tabbed the solo, but will hopefully add that soon.
There may be a few minor discrepancies but I think the following is
pretty close.
Opening chords (upstrokes):

Verse 1:
--------
Am G C F
Barkeep another Mekong please. Yes of course you can keep the change.
Am G C
New glass here for this new friend of mine. Forgive me I forgot your

name. Flip a coin what shall we talk about? Heads I tell the truth and
F Am G C
tails I lie. Well I came all the way from Taipei today. Now Bangkok's
F Am
pourin' rain as I'm goin' blind again and I haven't seen my girl for
G
fifteen thousand miles.
Chorus 1:
---------
F C G
Well is it true it's always happy hour here?
F G *Fill 1
And if it is I'd like to stay a while.
Am G F G Am
Well as cliche as it may sound I'd like to raise another round.
G F
And if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine.
G (opening chords + opening riff)
Thank you for your time. And here's to life...
Verse 2:

Am G C
Barkeep we need to go around again. One for me and "what's his name"
F Am G
my new best friend. So deal me in and I'll pick my cards up off the

floor. I'll see your lucky coin and raise a pack of lies. Smile to the
G C
girl at the door, another four-dollar whore. But don't look her in the
F Am G
eyes she'll break your heart. We came all the way from Taipei today.
C F
Still Bangkok's pissin' rain and we're goin' blind again and I haven't
Am G
seen my girl for fifteen thousand miles.
Chorus 2:
---------
F C G
Well is it true it's always happy hour here?
F G *Fill 1
And if it is I'd like to stay a while.
